Indian origin English Premier League footballer Michael Chopra is currently a player for the Indian Super League (ISL) team Kerala Blasters FC. He has represented England at the under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-20 levels. In 2006, he scored what was then the fastest goal by a substitute in Premier League history, scoring after being on the pitch for 15 seconds. With an Indian father, he was also the first player of Indian parentage to play and score in the Premier League and the first English footballer to play in the ISL.
